We are Modern Smiles Dental. Led by Dr. Ali Reza Forghani D.D.S., Modern Smiles is a family-oriented dentist focused on giving your family smile-worthy teeth. Dr. Ali Reza Forghani is a Montgomery county native that graduated from New York University College of Dentistry with his D.D.S. degree, after receiving his Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland at College Park.
While working as an associate in multiple practices for years, Dr. Forghani was able to take away only the positive aspects from his previous experiences and apply them to Modern Smiles. Dr. Forghani is committed to excellence in comprehensive dental care for all his patients, by providing the highest quality service using a more modern approach. He strives to stay ahead of the profession by continuously educating himself in the most up to date research and relevant technologies that dentistry has to offer.

Dr. Ali Reza Forghani
D.D.S
Dr. Ali Reza Forghani, D.D.S. graduated from the University of Maryland College Park in 2002 after receiving his B.S. degree in Biology. He then went on to New York University College of Dentistry to receive his D.D.S. degree in 2009. Dr. Forghani is committed to excellence in patient care and management. He strives to continuously educate himself in all aspects of dentistry. Dr. Forghani is caring, understanding, and very gentle with all of his patients. He treats all of his patients the way he would his own family members.
Tanaz Forghani
RDH
Tanaz is a mother of 2 and the matriarch of this practice. After receiving her education at University of Toronto (Canada), she then continued her education at New York University College of Dentistry to become a dental hygienist. She received her dental hygienist degree in 2008 and started working less than a year after that, and with over 14 years experience Tanaz is a vital part of our team and currently serving as our manager. She is very compassionate and personable, and continues to educate herself in the field through continuing education courses.
